Winner of the freelance carving in Thunder Bay.... This was done by a very ambitious beaver in June 2009.  It's near the entrance to the Thunder Bay Regional Conservation Area's Mission Marsh site.  You can see just how busy the beaver has been if you look around.  It is along the entrance to the walkway to the viewing site just to the left of the road. I'm sure the conservation authority is not too happy with the beaver's choice of tree.
