	Over the past few years the Thunder Bay Carvers Club has held many classes carving bark.  We have used some local poplar bark but most has been cottonwood bark.  We have been fortunate in having guest instructor Rick Jensen running several bark classes - a santa and bark house in the round., as well as our own Mike Southon and Les Barrow.
				Mike's winter lighthouse class - we frosted them with snow or white paint to look like a lighthouse on Lake Superior in winter...maybe because we did this class in winter.
